Academics and Research

Nicole Lemrick, RN, BSN

Research Nurse

After graduating from Indiana State University in 1993, I began my nursing career working in med surg, ER, and ICU. I then spent about three years in open heart, which served as the foundation of my nursing career. Shortly after that, I found a passion in emergency medicine and Level 1 trauma, where I spent over 20 years of my career. I connect quickly to others while building and leveraging relationships to get work done. I chose Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine’s research team to acquire new knowledge and expand my skill set, as well as to hone my problem solving skills while impacting the future of health care. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
